OOG (Out of Gauge) refers to cargo that exceeds standard container dimensions, typically shipped in Open Top (OT) containers or Flat Rack (FR) containers. Break-Bulk Cargo (or "project cargo") refers to goods that are too large to be transported on a single flat rack or platform. Typically, break-bulk cargo is loaded onto multiple flats on the vessel's deck and secured before transport.
